Trephine formed in 2025 when Jack, Dylan, and Parker were 15-year-old sophomores. Their first original song, “Gave My All For,” helped them win their school talent show that October. Lennox joined on bass in summer 2026, completing the current lineup.

Trephine develops its songs collaboratively. Dylan often brings in the core ideas and lyrics, then the full band shapes them into finished arrangements. All three founding members also came through their school’s marching and jazz bands, giving the songs more thought and structure than their raw, punchy sound might initially suggest.

The band released its self-titled four-song EP in 2026 and already has a slate of new material ready to record for a full-length album. “Gave My All For” has passed 1,000 streams on Spotify. All four released tracks were recorded by Brendan Meade of Hell Beach and Black Hatch.
